Approximately 5,000 years ago- The Gem war ends when Homeworld gems evacuate and activate a photon-based disruptor wave, corrupting any and all activated gems not protected by a bubble. Crystal Gems and Homeworld Gems still on earth are corrupted and become monsters. Just letting you know I'm not dead; it's just that my boss has me pretty much living at work.

Hey you may have noticed that my comic isn't updating. That's because I went to draw the backgrounds and realized... I had no idea how to draw a town. I've been slowly trying to set up a town I can use in my 3D modeling program, but it's slow going. Turns out inventing a town is a lot of work. I've decided that the town will be round, but it's difficult to do, since my program only has straight roads, and making shapes too big makes it difficult to see it. Not to worry, I AM still working on it, and once I've got it designed, it'll be much easier to draw.
